Hi! I'm Mitch. I'm a writer, actor and editor from a small town in Minnesota. I moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University, where I earned my BFA in Film & Television. Since then, I've performed in 150+ sketch and improv shows all around the city, and continued to develop my voice and craft. I run Go For Broke Productions, where I create sketch comedy shorts. One of which, "Backseat," won Best Screenwriting at DePaul Premiere Film Festival 2025 (and was nominated for best Directing and Best Live Action Short). It is also a selection at DePaul Selects 2026 in Los Angeles. I have done freelance video work with Infinite Elliott Productions, The Onion, and Guerrilla Press. I also like to create make mini music videos and produce songs.
